Nippon Shindo Co., Ltd. was founded in Sakai City in 1938, using Yoshida Teishichi Shoten, a wrought product wholesaler established in 1850 and Oudou Seisakusho, a brass manufacturing partnership firm established in 1896 as the nucleus. Since that time, we have promoted positive capital investment while making every effort to improve our technological ability. We now have a very strong position in Japan as a leading manufacturer of brass rods and wires.
In 2012, we built a new factory and installed an integrated production system consisting of advanced equipment to manufacture quality brass rods and wires, in quantity. In April 2014, we entered into a business partnership with San-Etsu Metals Co., Ltd. And the strong synergy between the two companies has contributed greatly to the QCDSM (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale) of the company.

In March 2015, we became a consolidated subsidiary of the CK San-Etsu Group. This helped us to take advantage of our advanced equipment and improve our production technology while pursuing the world's highest level of quality and productivity. We are committed to making further efforts to gain our customers trust, by focusing on the production of our major products, such as brass rods and wires, as well as value-added products including high-strength wear-resistant HERO BRONZE and forging and cutting brass products.
